AVERY, David J. Jr. Of Somerville, formerly of Cambridge, December 3, 2008. Beloved husband of Patricia (Ring) Avery. Father of Jody Connelly of Cambridge, Jackie Cunningham of Somerville and Bryan Avery of Dayton, OH. Brother of Donald Avery, Nita Beals and Nancy Webb. Grandfather of Laurie, Jamie, Brad and Alan. Funeral procession from the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq) SOMERVILLE, Saturday morning at 9am, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John Church, Cambridge at 10:00. Relatives and friends invited. Calling hours Friday 4-8. Interment private. David AKA Jr to me, has been one of our most loved patient. David had a sense of humor that had us all thrilled to see him on his visits, we laugh and joked and I can still see him smiling at me with eyes full of life. We lauged with both him and Pat.
