Mr. Ranieri,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served during WW II and the Korean War and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Mrs.Ranieri and Family:
Last night leaving the wake I was thinking of my memories of Mr Ranieri, such as: the Christmas cherries in rum, the homemade pasta he sent me home with in a shoebox(ahh a true Italian), shooting targets in ME (when I would turn around after firing "Joel for Christsakes lower that gun") and my regret at hardly ever beating him and Mrs. Ranieri at whist. He was a wonderful, fatherly guy and I am sure he will be missed very much.
Wish all of you the best...
Joel

Mrs. Ranieri, Karen, Philip, Timmy..
It is always hard to loose someone you love so much.I wish mere words could take away the pain. I will always remember Mr. Ranieri as he was in my childhood: warm, charming, outgoing, and fun-loving. Your house was always open to all the neighborhood kids....and there were a ton of us !!! I pray God wraps his arms around you and your families at this difficult time. One day you will be able to look back on cherished memories, they will bring warmth to your hearts and a smile.

Claire,
I was saddened to hear of Phil's death. My thoughts and prayers are with you through this difficult time. I smile when I think of our many hospice visits. I received so much more than I gave. Blessings to you and your family.
With love, Barbara Perry, RN
