Lee was a special girl. I remember the day she rode around with me on election day during a heated Newton Mayoral campaign. We were giving people rides to the polls. We were together in the car for like 9 hours. I learned a lot about her and what made her special. I am very sorry for your loss

A classic! Lee, one of a kind....xo~c

I walked into the 4th St. cafe in NYC, (fresh from studying in London) Oct.10,1985 to get a cappucino before looking at a apt.share on St.Marks, and the girl in the cafe stood there looking me up and down in her tailored pants and cashmere sweater. She made me a cappucino and we got to chatting, and she couldn't see me surviving St. Marks, which led us to her apt. and the next morning i moved in...the beginning of a long and full friendship. I leave it to the photos of that early time to speak. "La tout le pleu" Lee!

People often use the word unique, when the word they should use is rare. My mother, Lee Gordon, was Unique. There has never been before, nor will there ever be again a woman like her. She was a better person than this world deserved, & there is no adequate reward for the good she has done, and the people (virtually everyone she has ever met) she has,and will continue to inspire. Too say my life is richer for having known her, and that she will be missed by all her friends&family is a gross understatement; but when speaking of Lee, understatement is inevitable.
I always have, and always will, Love her more than I can possibly say.
Her Sun,

Jared K Gordon

Lee was a special person in many ways. She touched may lives and all who knew her will never forget her. My son treasures and wears a shirt that Lee painted for me so her presence goes to another generation. My best to her family and especially Jared

Lee holds a special place in my life and in my heart. We shared the ups and downs of life as sisters for over 30+ years. I was honored to share Jareds' 1st Yom Kippur with Lee. Lee always had a strong, passionate opinion, just ask her she would tell you. She blessed everyone who was lucky enough to know her.
In loving memory of a wonderful person. I will love you always.

I have such fond memories of Lee when we were at Newton South together. I am sorry for her being taken from us, too young! She was so much fun to be with back in the day when we were young ! Lee , may you rest in peace and know how many people loved you !

Lee was my dear friend for over 25 years and her loss will leave a deep void in my heart. She had an incredible amount of diverse creative talents so I can only assume she is curating the work of all those other imaginative sorts in heaven. May her family be comforted by her wonderful memories and the knowledge of how positively she affected all those around her. Lee, you will be a part of my soul and spirit forever. I will always remember the time spent at our mountain log cabin in the Catskills- eating, laughing, running, skinny-dipping- playing like little kids. Doing everything fattening, illegal and dangerous! The best life has to offer- and we did it! With all my love, may you be at peace forever.
