SHINE, Dorothy Anne Of Mesa, AZ, passed away December 4, 2008 in Gilbert, AZ, She was 83. She was born May 19, 1925 to Patrick & Anna (McGann) McDonnell in Lexington, MA. Dorothy was preceded in death by her loving husband and best friend John J. Shine, Jr. (a former police officer of Lexington, MA). She is survived by her sons: John J. (Debra) Shine, III of Austin, TX, Richard A. Shine of San Jose, CA & Kevin E. Shine of Watsonville, CA, her daughter Donna M. Wilson of Mesa, AZ her grandchildren: Sara Shine of Walburg, TX, Joe Shine of Washington DC, Amber Shine of San Jose, CA & Brian Wilson of San Francisco, CA. Arrangements were handled by Mountain View Memorial Gardens Mortuary, MESA, Arizona. (480) 832-2850.

Your Mother and I were next-door neighbors in Lexingtn,MA.and--along with her Boston Terrier--we were childhood friends. I was her Senior Prom Date! I am so happy we were back in touch. I pray that her passing was peaceful. I shall always remeber "Dottie"!
