Dear Mullen Family,
My heartfelt sympathies are with you during this most difficult time.
Frank was such an impressive and intelligent man. Simply stated, Frank was a gentleman.
May the happy memories of the past give you comfort in the future.
A father holds your hand for just a little while, but he holds your heart forever.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.
God Bless you all,
Carol Ann

Mr Frank Mullen came into my life when it was in a turmoil that I had fought with often and unnecessesarily, when I was 14 years old. He always had such kind, gentle words to calm my mental in abilities and low self esteem and by that, he made me a better person. He was my homeroom teacher at South Junior High School, in Quincy, Ma. about the year 1954..I have thought of Mr. Mullen many times through the years and am now 65 years old. Thinking back, I recall he was a tall man with very dark wavy hair. He always stood up for me and didn't let anyone cut me down in front of him. I see he had a wonderful life and a nice big family too. Remember Lord, to take Mr Frank Mullen by the Hand as You Cross The Great Divide.

Please accept my sympathies for your loss. My dad worked for the Quincy Recreation Department with Frank when they were both younger along with Bill Ryan, Dan Coughlin, Dana Smith and others from "The Greatest Generation". Mr.Mullen was always a true gentleman and a class act and we are all better off having known him.
