I just learned tonight of Anna's passing. My son is in John's class at the Brown school. Anna made working at the Marriott fun, and enjoyable. She was one of the best co-workers I have ever had the pleasure to work side by side with, and just a wonderful friend. She loved you, and told me once that you are her best friend. It was obvious to anyone who saw you two together that you were totally devoted to one another. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your children.

Dear Joe and Family,
I will always remember Anna as a kind woman with a friendly smile on her face. She always made you feel welcomed when you were at the house. She loved her children with a mother's tender heart and she loved you Joe - as the very loving wife that she was to you - and it showed.
As believers, we know that our loved ones are safe in Heaven with Jesus our Savior and we know, through faith, that we'll be together with them again one day. Although your hearts are breaking and the void so painful to bear at times, remember that God loves you all as He loves Anna. Yes, He has chosen to welcome her into Heaven's joy at a time that doesn't seem proper to our natural ways of thinking but even so, He will provide all the hope, courage and the strength you will need to make it through each day. Even God grieves the death of His children so know that His heart suffers with you too Joe. With unshakable faith in His promises trust that His mercy towards you, your children and your whole family, endures forever. God will NEVER abandon you and the kids Joe. He will comfort you my friend. The wonderful priest at St. Adelaides stated so many powerful truths about our salvation in Jesus I especially call to mind this: "death itself will be destroyed one day." What a great day that will be! Anna is at peace from this world's troubles and with her love for you Joe, she is praying for all of you in God's very presence. "Absent from the body, present with The Lord" I share this saying with you all and I hope it brings you some measure of comfort as it did for me when I first read it: "We can endure this life's trials because of the next life's joys." I pray for peace in your grieving hearts and comfort for your precious souls, Joe and family. You will see Anna and you will be with Anna again one day - forever! In The Savior's Love...Gino
