I met Bob a little more than five years ago, and in doing so, became his financial representative. When we met we discussed more than his financial interests. World issues became the topic at any moment during such meetings. We had similar interests, especially education -- our passion at one time in our lives. I must say that such meetings were a joy for me. In time, I believe, we could have solved many of the existing world problems, or at least discussed the solutions.

I hope that someday I can be as great a math professor as Professor Campbell was to me 8 years ago at NSCC. My 200 mile drive to the wake was worth it, just to meet the family who were blessed to have him. I felt truly blessed to have him as a teacher and I think of how much his class made a difference in my life all the time. He put so much enthusiam and excitement in his lectures, it encouraged me to persue engineering degrees and become a teacher. I remember him as being a funny guy both inside and outside of class.

Bob was a great man with such exhuberance for life! He always had a smile and a kind word. He will be sorely missed.

I was so sorry to hear of Bob's death. He was such a nice man and it was so obvious how he loved his family.
