Charles Caron Obituary

CARON, Charles J. 66, of Norwell died Friday, Dec. 12 in the Mass General Hospital in Boston after a brief illness. He was born in Sanford, ME, on Oct. 13, 1942, the son of the late Alfred and Noella (Tanguay) Caron. He was raised and educated in Sanford, ME, and lived in Hamilton until moving to Norwell 13 years ago. Mr. Caron was the Founder and President of Signet Electronic, Inc. in Norwell. He enjoyed golfing and his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Patricia D. (Rankin) Caron, 1 son, Bradford S. Caron of Norwell, 1 daughter, Renee M. Wright of Medway, 7 grandchildren, Ryan Wright, Erin Wright, Jillian Wright, Drew Caron, Madison Caron, Morgan Caron and Dane Caron, 2 brothers, Robert Caron of Freeport, ME, and Richard Caron of San Jose, CA, 3 sisters, Irene Frechette of Myrtle Beach, SC, Betty Howes of Saco, ME, and Joan Hilton of Gillington, ME. The Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in St. Helen Church, 383 Washington St., Rte. 53, in Norwell. Interment will be in Washington Street Cemetery in Norwell. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St., Rte. 53, in HANOVER. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham MA 01701-4680.
