I was sorry to hear of Sarah's passing. She was the first person I worked with at the MBTA. I am grateful for her guidence and inspiration when we worked on the Southwest Corridor Project and throughout my career there. I know that she will be missed by many.

I met Sarah in the 80's and enjoyed time I spent with her very much. I admired her for her strength of character and her zest for life. I have not lived in Massachusetts since 1989 so I picture everyone back home as young and healthy as they were when I last saw them so I was shocked to read of Sarah's passing. I do not know the circumstances of her death but I pray that she is now in a much happier place and reunited with her Mom and Dad who she loved very much. I pray for peace in the hearts of all who knew and loved Sarah and are mourning her loss.
Sincerely,
Lynda M. Volkringer

So sorry to hear of Sarah's passing. Many years ago we had a fun trip to Lake George. She was a strong lady, who struggled bravely. Thinking of you at this time. Dorothy Pieroni (Denise Marinilli's sister)
