Dear Family,
I was so sorry to hear about Buddy. My daughter, Janet, called me this morning and told me that a message was left for me on her phone that Buddy had passed away. Had I known before he was buried, I would most certainly have been there to talk to you about what a great person he was. We worked together at Duffy Bros. since he came to work for them. He was a great guy, very knowledgeable in his trade and I remember, because of his age, he thought he might be more of a burden that an asset. Because of the knowledge he had, he was a great teacher and showed the younger guys and myself the right way to do things and he made it look so easy. His sports knowledge, especially hockey and football made for many a great conversation. He's one of the finest men that I ever had the pleasure of meeting and will miss him terribly. God Bless You All in this time of despair and may God Bless Buddy.
Fondly, Joe DiCamillo

The O'Meara Family,

Growing up across the street from some of the best people in the city made childhood easier and so much fun. We were like an extended family on Chandler Street and it will always be home. Your family was like an extension of mine and others on the street.

Buddy - you will truly be missed and remembered. Kay, you and Buddy have raised a wonderful family and should be very proud. Stay close - family forever.

To The O'Meara Gang

Any time I think of your father I think of "Uncle Buddy", his big smile and warm greeting. He made you feel like you were the most important person in the world when he talked with you. I'll never forget on my wedding your father and mother trecking all the way to New Hampshire after the wedding to spend a few extra hours with family. That meant a lot to me.
I don't know what else to say except I'm sorry, and I'm thinking of you.

Your cousin -Scott

O'Meara Family,

Having grown up with ALL of you on Chandler Street, there are so many found memories we've shared together, we often talked about the nice dad, the mean dad and I often thought of your dad as a quiet guy, but man when he raised his voice we all went running. I still remember him often saying "O'Meara's" it's time to eat and how we always asked if you guys could stay out to play our many many games of kickball, dodgeball and who can forget Mark hanging out with my Mom during Releveo while we searched and searched for him.

The Chandler Street "Gang" will always live on :)

I will always remember how much you supported us during my father's illness, I hope you know without you guys my Mom wouldn't have made it.

Meg, although life and it's craziness hasn't kept us as close as we use to be, I hope you know I will always think of you as a sister and one of my truest of friends.

May your dad rest in peace and it looks like there is another great guy up in Heaven looking down on all of us.

If you need anything, let us know.

Love you all and continue to stay close to one another as with family and friends you can get through anything.
