Dearest Aunt Chippy, Maureen, Eddy, Diane & Denise. I am so sorry for your loss. I have such wonderful memories of Uncle Elgin. I'll never forget going to Fenway Park to see Yaz hit his 400th career home run. I still have the newspaper article and the tickets from that game. I am a Red Sox fan for life. Uncle Elgin always made me feel so special each time I visited Canton. My thoughts and prayers are with each of you. With love, Chrissie

We all miss you papa, but we will always have the memories. I will never forget the infamous chicken coop, visiting you at the Town Hall, the father/daughter square dance and of course, the trip to Honey Dew Donuts.

Everyone looked up to you and admired your zest for life. You always kept your sense of humor.

Watch us, Papa, and know how much you are loved & missed XoXo

Aunt Chip -You were such a dedicated wife and your Marriage and Love for Uncle Elg is a lesson to us all. Uncle Elg adored you. I was always so proud to be his neice walking into the Town Hall after school and stopping in to say "Hello". He always greeted Lin and I with a great big smile. I can see Lin and Elg doing a little gig together in Heaven now.

To the Eardley Family,
I am so sorry for your loss, Elgin was a wonderful man.
I used to go in to the Canton Town Hall to visit my Aunt who worked with him, and he always was laughing, he let me sit at his desk and color and do anything. He was very good to my aunt and our family. His love for fishing was something else too.. he used to go visit my grandmother as well, he adored her. I am sure he is with her now.
May you find strength to get thru the coming days.

Dear Mrs. Eardley, Maureen, Dianne, Eddie and Denise,

My thoughts are with all of you. Mr. Eardley was a good man and a good neighbor. I can remember so many good times in our old neighborhood. I can see Mr. Eardley tending to his chickens in your back yard and his friendly wave hello. I wish you well.

Sincerely,

Auntie Chippy: I am choosing to remember Uncle Elgie as the life of the party; always laughing and making others laugh. It was clear how much he loved you. You and my cousins are in my thoughts today. I believe Uncle Elgie is at peace.
