Of Dorchester, August 21, 2007. Beloved husband of Mildred J. (McDonough). Loving father of Joseph G. and his wife Bonnie Godas of Braintree. Cherished grandfather of Alexander and Charlotte. Dear brother of Bronnie and the late Joseph and George Godas and Alice Thompson. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Gregory's Church, Dorchester on Friday, Aug. 24 at 11:15 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours at the Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Ave., MILTON, Thursday 5-8 PM. Interment private at the Mass. National Cemetery, Bourne. Late US Air Force Veteran, WWII. Mr. Godas,
Sir, I didn't know you, but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army Air Forces during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
