Of Lynnfield, Aug. 21. Husband of Elva G. (Veinotte) Batchelder and the late Laurenia (Eastman) Batchelder. Father of Joyce Hope and her husband Brian of E. Hartford, CT, Ronald of Wilmington, Roger and his wife Peggy of Lynnfield, Bruce of Dover, NH, Scott of Warwick, RI, Roy and his wife Kathy of Pepperell and Janet Cushing and her husband Tim of Stratham, NH. Stepfather of Deborah G. Marchand and her husband Hummer of Steamboat Springs, CO and Sally G. Klein and her husband Kurtis of Colleyville, TX. Brother-in-law of David Eastman, M.D. and his wife Esther. Brother of the late Hilda, Neal, Norman and Irma Batchelder. Also survived by 19 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held at the Centre Congregational Church, 5 Summer St., Lynnfield on Friday at 11 AM. Relatives and friends may call at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., WAKEFIELD on Thursday from 4-7 PM.
