Mary was a good friend to my brother during their high school years. I remember the times she came to our house and how nice she was. I am sorry she is gone at such a young age.

Jimmy, Sia, Charlie, Chips, and Mary's extended family. You are all in my thoughts and prayers during this sad time. As care-givers it is so difficult to try to help your loved one. Mary is at peace now in the loving arms of the Blessed Mother and I know the prayer she loved so much, the Memorare, was a comfort to her. Several weeks ago we shared that prayer as we shared many prayers over the past several years. We also shared a lot of laughs, tears and sometimes we 'butted heads' but it always was lovingly. Occasionally she would get peeved with me and later we would laugh about it. She was a beautiful woman, inside and out, talented, generous and giving of herself. She knitted a beautiful Christmas scarf and I admired it. She took it from her neck and presented it to me. I will treasure that scarf. I will miss her laugh, her saying I can't do this Joan, and then proceeding to do exactly what she said she couldn't do. God Bless all who loved her. You are all in my prayers.
