Patience Thistle Obituary

In Reading of Chelsea August 21, 2007 in her ninety-seventh year. Devoted sister of the late Alexander Thistle, Thomas Thistle and Doris L. Soper and loving aunt of three nephews, several grandnieces and nephews and great grandnieces and nephews. Patience was born in Chelsea on August 25, 1910 the daughter of Matthew and Wilhelmina (Higgins) Thistle. She was a life long resident of Chelsea and worked as an assembler for Hysil Corp. from 1927-1965. Patience was an active member of the Mt. Bellingham United Methodist Church in Chelsea. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, October 19 at 10 am in the Chapel of the Old South United Methodist Church, 6 Salem St., Reading. Relatives and friends invited to attend. A private burial was held at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Patience's memory to the Old South United Methodist Church Sunday School 6 Salem St., Reading, MA 01867.
