Bob, Martha, and Bobby,
We are so sorry for your loss. Bob, your Dad was such a sweet man, it was a pleasure and an honor to have met him and to see him the few times that we did since he was back living up here.
He is at peace now. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
You know we are here if you need anything at all.
Love,
Mark, Mary-Joan, Petrina and Mark

Although we've not been together for long periods, especially since the death of my mother, Abe's sister, I've always held a special place in my heart for my uncle. I recall his gentle was in my childhood, and thoes of his retirement. I'm proud to hang his portrate of my late daughter in my home. My memories will always remain of his kind, easy ways, a favorite Uncle. He'll be missed.

Mr. Berman,
Sir, I didn't know you, but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the Phillipines in WW II and for the incredible hardships you had to endure as a Prisoner Of War of the Japanese for over three years beginning with the Bataan Death March. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy. If it wasn't for you and your fellow American servicemen who held the line against the Japanese in the beginning of the war from December of 1941-May of 1942 which bought valuable time for our Country to reinforce and supply Australia and our other positions in the Pacific, we might not have not have been able to have won the War.
