Not sure what to say?

January 20, 2014

Johnny Pedoto and I met off and on at the Joseph H. Barnes Junior High. WE both drove oil trucks later, I for Dick's Oil and he was a Fagone Emplyee as I remember. Chicky and Johnny were a nice couple as the school year came to a close and I went off to war. I knew that John would be someone special over the years and I am deeply saddened by news of his passing, discovering it only on this day 20 January 2014. My wife and I wish to convey our sincerest condolences to you Jeanette and all your family.

So sorry to hear the passing of your grandfather. Please know that my thoughts and prayes are with you at this time

August 30, 2007

Dear Joey and Chuckie. My thoughts and prayers go out to you both and the rest of your family. I would like also add my prayers to his grandaughters. I have worked at Viking Oil for not a long time but time enough to have met and got to know Pratt. He loved his granddaughters and they took such good care of him . That used to make me feel good about what a family should be like. I liked him right off the bat because he would always laugh at my jokes. He said he used to look forward to them. I always knew when he was sitting at my desk because he would leave evidence of scratching tickets. I attended his funeral mass. It was touching and beautiful. May God bless you and your family in this most difficult time. Stay close to one another. With my deepest sympathy. Patsy Donnelly Inacio

Joey, Chuckie, Jussie, Kristen, and Jaime,

I’m so sorry to hear about Pratt. I will miss so many things about him. He was a great friend to my entire family, and a best friend to my father. He was one of the few people that can get my dad to smile, and together they were the perfect pair of grumpy old men. I’m not sure how he’ll spend a weekend morning without him...

My thoughts are with you all, and Pratt will always be in my heart.

Love,
Kim Merryman

Dear Chuckie, Joey, Norma, Kristen, Jessie, Jamie, and Judy,
though our hearts overflow with grief, and our eyes are filled with tears, we find true and everlasting comfort in knowing that Mr. Pedoto is in a much better place, reunited with his (and our) beloved Jeannette. Our sadness is tempered only by the cherished memories of Pratt's kind and gentle soul. He will always be in our thoughts as an example of a life filled with compassion, wisdom, dignity, and fierce loyalty towards family and those fortunate enough to be called friends. We are so going to miss him. Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers, and do not hesitate to call on us for anything. With deepest heartfelt sympathy from both the US and Italian branches of the Lepre family.
