We got the calls from home, one after another (away on vacation), it still hasn't sunk in! I was down the CLUB this afternoon watching the BC Football game. I know exactly when it will hit me, Tuesday night September 18, 2007 7:30PM (meeting night @ Ambrose D.Cedrone Lodge #1069) Waiting for Brother Alex's Scholarship Treasurey & Budget Reports! Sitting across from me during our regular meetings will never be same!
Sister Margaret, Brother Fran & Brother Steve, our heart felt deepest sympathy goes out to the entire Cedrone Family.
Fr. Cuenin from Our Lady's Church says it best...When we say good bye in Italian, we way, "ARRIVEDERCI" (TILL WE SEE YOU AGAIN)
GOD BLESS, REST IN PEACE!

Alex, Best friend/Brother
Away on vacation the phone call came in.
Shock, disbelief, and did anyone get the # of that truck? We are emotionally, and physically shaken. So many precious memories. We listened to the ocean & watched the sky. So many times we heard you & saw your face go by. The hurt is to hard to bear. We are asking God everyday to give us inner strength, as it is so difficult to find comfort in you leaving. All the talks, hugs, and kisses. The times we shared telling each other how much we loved one another. More than friends. Always family. Your love, of life, spirit, and kindness will live in our hearts forever. We love and miss you so much. As Margaret would say No Good-Bye's o.k. Brother? So until we can be together again thank you for your love and freindship.
Thoughts of Peace,
Tony & Mary Cooch

I had the pleasure of working with Alex for a short time and found him to always approach his responsibilities with enthusiasm, intelligence, fairness and the highest level of ethics. I thoroughly enjoyed my time under his direction. I was saddened and shocked by the news of his sudden passing. I'm sure his absence will be deeply felt by those closest to him for a long time to come. I extend my condolences to Margaret, his immediate family and to his extended family. In the final analysis, success is not measured by your wealth and possessions, but by the friends who loved and cared for you along the way. Alex was a very successful man. God speed, Alex.

Uncle Alex
It was the day you passed away
It's hard for everyone to grieve
Now we really must believe
That you are in a better place
I'll always miss your shining face
Although there is an empty space
I'll live the lessons you have taught
And forget you I will surely not

I worked for Alex for about 5 years at Data General. He was honest, caring, and someone I could call a friend. Whether it was work or family related he always was there to lend some guidance. We had great times together at the poker games back in the 90's (he raised me by a dime every time!) I'll never forget the day we filled his office with balloons for his 50th birthday - the look on his face was priceless. Alex, I'll miss you. Margaret and family; my deepest sympathies.
