Livingston Hoyt Obituary

82, of Wayland and Chathamport died peacefully in his Chatham home on August 28th. Raised in San Diego CA, he graduated from San Diego High School then served in the Naval Air. He returned to study at Stanford University where he earned both undergraduate and graduate degrees. Retired partner at Scudder, Stevens & Clark in Boston. A son of the late Roland S. and Ethel Livingston Hoyt of San Diego, and is the brother of Roland S. Hoyt Jr. of Tustin, CA. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Marnie Foster Hoyt and their four children; Donna Gibson of Wellesley, MA, Julia Davis of Wellesley, MA, Randall Hoyt of Marstons Mills, MA, and Michael Hoyt of Norwell, MA. Also survived by 13 adoring grandchildren. The family will hold a private service. Memorial gifts may be made in his memory to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Center for Neuro-Oncology, 44 Binney Street, Boston, MA 02115-6084 or Hospice of Cape Cod 765 Attucks Lane Hyannis, MA. 02601.
