Barbara Snow Obituary

Age 74, of Salem and formerly of Marblehead, passed away quietly in the early morning hours of September 2, 2007, with her loving husband of 53 years by her side. She was diagnosed with leukemia in May of this year. She was the beloved wife of Edward L. Snow of Salem; devoted mother of Nancy Snow and her husband David Owens, Linda Snow and her husband Mark Dockser, and Michael Snow and his wife Elizabeth Lemons, all of Reading, MA; dear sister of Harold Levy and his wife Harriet of Danvers, MA, and step-sister of Kenneth Taylor and his wife Joan of PA; cherished grandmother of Ben and Hannah Owens, Joshua, Aaron and Jennie Dockser, and Abigail and Nathaniel Lemons. Services will be held on Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at 1 PM at Temple Emanu-El, 393 Atlantic Ave, Marblehead, followed by interment in Temple Emanu-El Cemetery, Danvers. Memorial Observance will be held at her late residence through Friday at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (please specify donations to go towards Leukemia Research), 10 Brookline Place, 6th FL, Brookline, MA 02445. Dear Ed and family,
Lew and I are sitting here in Florida and want you to know that we will miss our cousin, our friend, Barbara. We will miss her smile, her baking, and most of all her good nature. I hope that you will all find the strenth and the peace that she would want you all to have to go on with life and remeber her as happy, well, and with her family. She loved that more than anything. She is at peace now and will look down to take care of all of you. We will miss her and keep her in our hearts forever.
