Lilla Marion Pond

88, of Norwood, and a former longtime Wrentham businesswoman, died on September 1, 2007, peacefully during the early morning hours at the Maples Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wrentham. She was born in the West Roxbury section of Boston on November 11, 1918. She was the loving and devoted daughter of the late Carl Furber and Marion (Norton) Pond. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the RJ Ross Funeral Home, 135 South Street, Route 1A, WRENTHAM CENTRE, on Tuesday from 5-7 PM. Her funeral service will be on Wednesday morning at ten, in the Sanctuary of the First Congregational Church of Norwood, Route 1A at Winter Street, Norwood. She will be buried in the family lot in the Wrentham Centre Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Richard Ross and the RJ Ross Funeral Home, Wrentham Centre.
