My Sympathies to the Colavario and VanMeter families. I was blessed to have Diane as friend. She was always happy, and willing to reach out and give a helping hand, right until the very end. I will miss her more than words can say. Jimmy and Lucas...your Mom cared more for you than anything. I hope you carry that and her with you in your hearts forever.

This is a picture of Diane and I in late June..at the Franky Valley concert at the Esplanade in Boston. She was truly a joy to know.and a light in the life of my life. as well as in the lives of my children Nicholas and Harrison.

Anna, Gina, Lucas, Jimmy & Family: Diane was the cutest kid (and hardest worker) when I met her at Sablone's. Then Diane turned into a beautiful, young woman who could make anyone smile, laugh and want to get up and dance because of all of her energy. Her ambition and strength was so much to admire. I know Diane is in a happy, peaceful place right now, but she will be terribly missed amongst all of her family and friends here. May the love and prayers going out to all of you help keep you strong. God Bless you.

My deepest sympathy goes out to Bobby, Aunt Anna,Gina, Jimmy and Lucas for your loss. I loved Diane with all my heart and will never forget her - Diane - you gave me my start in my career by getting me an internship with you at the Boston Company and I will always remember it! Were it not for that opportunity, I may not be where I am today...You had such a passion for life and it was contagious..I will never forget your smile or your laugh and all that you did for me. Your independent spirit was always an inspiration to me. I take comfort in knowing that you are in a better place now.

James, Jimmy, and Lucus, You are in my thoughts and my prayers.

An Irish Funeral Prayer

Death is nothing at all.
It does not count.
I have only slipped away into the next room.
Everything remains as it was.
The old life that we lived so fondly together is untouched, unchanged.
Whatever we were to each other, that we are still.
Call me by the old familiar name.
Speak of me in the easy way which you always used.
Put no sorrow in your tone.
Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes that we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household word that it always was.
Let it be spoken without effort
Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was.
There is unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner.
All is well. Nothing is hurt; nothing is lost.
One brief moment and all will be as it was before.
How we shall laugh at the trouble of parting, when we meet again.

Diane was my dance instructor for many years, she was like family to me. Not only did she instill in me a passion but a love for life. She taught me how to exceed any epectation and removed the word "can't" from my vocabulary. Her smile was so beautiful and her laughter was contageous. I will be forever grateful that I was blessed with her friendship and I will hold her close to my heart always. May you dance forever.....
