Evelyn Schwartz

Age 86 of Swampscott, passed away September 4 after a long illness, following her beloved husband of 63 years, David, who passed away in May of 2007. She is survived by her two children: Burt, the owner of Wellington News of Marblehead, and Paula S. Apsell, the Senior Executive Producer of the PBS NOVA series, of Newton. Mrs. Schwartz is also survived by her four granddaughters: Dr. Emily Apsell of Boston, a resident at Massachusetts General Hospital; Natalie Apsell of Washington, DC, an Associate Producer at CNN; Lauren Schwartz, a junior at San Diego State; and Hilary Schwartz, an honors student at Marblehead High. Services will he held on Thursday September 6, 2007 at 10 AM at Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel, 10 Vinnin Street, SALEM-SWAMPSCOTT line. The family will receive friends and relatives from 2-4{M1} PM at Mrs. Schwartz's Swampscott residence on Friday September 7, as well as on Sunday September 9 from 2-5 PM and 7-9 PM, with services at 7:30 PM at the Newton home of Sheldon and Paula Apsell.
