Mr. Hemphill,
Sir, I didn't know you, but as a fellow Marine I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USMC during WW II. The history and accomplishments made by you and your fellow Marines during WW II are what all of us Marines who have followed in your footsteps have always tried to live up to. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

My heart goes out to the Hemphill family, in the few hours that i get to meet Mr Hemphill, i was encouraged by him about life, which i will always cherish from day to day, he is a father and a friend to everyone.
He will be seen in every sunrise, every sunset and every bright star that shines in the sky......My deepest sympathy to everyone, especially Mandy. Mr Hemphill is at the right place, hes resting with the lord.
