Dear Augusta, By chance I was online to show someone my old dear Sturgis Library, & I found this site. I thought, this can't be true -in my mind Larry is still that cute, personality plus, agronomist & you still have braces on your teeth. In those days, I was still married to Ron Marchand, and was working in Barnstable. If you remember me at all, or not, I just wanted to say I loved Larry like a sweet younger brother, I remember you with love. I think i have some pictures of us from that time. Oh, my dear, I send blessings to you and your family. Linda

Dear Ausgusta Caroline,
I was so sorry to read of your loss. I am thinking of you and your girls. I can only hope time heals such shock and pain from such a loss. I will always be grateful for all the kindness and interest you showed my daughter, Caroline, years ago when you were the children's librarian. Remember Caroline Augusta of Caddie Woodlawn? Kaethe O. We were blessed to meet Lawrence while camping Labor Day weekend at Wellesley Island. Lawrence was our "camping" neighbor, and in the 2 days that we all got to know him, he managed to touch our hearts with his warm friendly ways. His death deeply affected all of us. Our prayers go out you in your time of grief.

We had the pleasure of meeting Lawrence at Thousand Islands while we were camping the weekend of Sept.2sd. He was camping right next to us and our friends. He seemed like a great person. He talked alot about his family and his fishing. And though we only knew him for a short time, his death affected us and our friends that weekend.

Larry Lynch was a friend, mentor, and someone who always had an answer to my questions. I have learned so much from Larry in the irrigation field and life in general. He will be missed alot and I don't think I will ever meet anyone else like him. He will always be remembered to me as "The Legend"
