From among the heavenly spiritual hosts,
One angel descends upon us now.
He comes to intercede on our behalf,
As our thoughts and prayers are raised.
He comes to hold our hands,
Bringing God's most needed mercy.
He comes to celebrate the return of
one of God's most precious souls.
He comes to honor the life he led.
Many blessings were bestowed to this great man
And an angel of remembrance has been placed in his hand.
With compassion, comfort, and celebration,
Our angel will preserve his memory.
We have learned so much,

Sir, I didn't know you, but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Navy during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
