Of Brookline, formerly of Falmouth and Boston, August 30, 2007 at 92 years. Beloved husband of the late Helen (Murray) Gallagher. Father of the late Charles R. Gallagher III and father in law of Christine E. Gallagher of Stoughton. Father of Ronald P. Gallagher and father in law of Beverly M. Gallagher of Brookline. Grandfather of Mary Beth Wagner of Sharon, Emily Ruth Gallagher of Northampton, and Lindsey Helen Gallagher of Lebanon, NH. Greatgrandfather of Elizabeth Gallagher-Burns and Rory Gallagher-Wagner of Sharon. Survived by sisters Etta Willis of Dedham, Charlotte Hogan of Pembroke Pines, FL, Edith Levens of Homosassa, FL and several nieces and nephews. Former Inspector for the MBTA. Memorial Mass for Mr. Charles Gallagher and Mrs. Helen Gallagher, who predeceased him in 2000, will be on Saturday, September 22 at 10:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St., Stoughton.
