To the Family of Florence Casler, Hi, my name is Lynn Manganiello and I had the pleasure of getting to know Florence(as we called her) at Rosewood Heights. My mom, Thola Daniels is a resident there on the same floor as Florence. I want to express my deepest condolences to you and to let you know how much she meant to me and to my family. Florence had a way of making us all laugh in such a difficult time. She would smile at us and would always try to get my mom to laugh or even smile. She would always say to my mom, "What's wrong with you, why don't you smile?" I can remember many conversations with Florence. She often told me about her childhood, and how tough it was. That she was always told to look out for the younger kids and then she would tell about how much she loved the kids that she babysat for. She enjoyed seeing my Youngest son, Lucas(8) and she would talk to him about everything. I will always remember her laugh and how good it made us all feel, if only for awhile. Being on that floor visiting is not easy and I always looked forward to seeing her and laughing along with her. She was a light for me in a very dark, cruel disease and I will forever remember Florence with fond memories. I am sorry to ramble on but I just wanted you to know how much she meant to me and my Dad. This disease takes away the heart and soul of those affected and people who don't know only see the outside appearance. With Florence I was able to see the beautiful person that she was inside and out. She truly was a Blessing to me and my family. I still listen for her laugh when I go there to visit Mom, and sometimes I can almost hear it. She is in a much better place now, one where her inner beauty is beaming. Thanks for listening and may we find a cure. Sincerely, Lynn Manganiello
