Of South Boston, September 9, 2007. Beloved husband of the late Margaret A. "Peggy" (Barrett) Fleming. Loving father of James Fleming and his wife Sharon of South Boston, Denise Nagle and her husband James of South Boston, Michael Iervolino Somerville and John Iervolino of Weymouth. Dear brother of Barbara Gibbons of South Harwich, Thomas Fleming of Cambridge and the late Charles "Chipper" Fleming. Loving uncle of Julie Gibbons of South Harwich. Also survived by 6 grandchildren. Funeral from The O'Brien Funeral Home, 146 Dorchester Street, SOUTH BOSTON, Wednesday at 8:30AM. Funeral Mass in St. Vincent's Church Wednesday at 9:30AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8PM. Interment Blue Hills Cemetery, Braintree. US Army Veteran. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Red's memory to the Molecular Oncology Research Institute, 750 Washington St., NEMC Box 817, Boston, MA 02111-1533.

sorry to hear about your Dad,he was a great man. He made many a trip to my home to install a new water heater or to find out where the leak in my bathroom was coming from, only after he drove your mom to work. He loved to talk about Peg and his children.
