Katherine Mitchell Obituary

Of Newton, on Sept 10, 2007. Wife of the late Frederick A. Mitchell. Mother of Linda and her husband Bill Mackie of Framingham and Lawrence F. Mitchell of Weymouth. Grandmother of Scott, Katie, Kristin, Kelli and Katherine and great grandmother of Alexia. A funeral service will be held on Thurs Sept 13 at 12 Noon in the Newton Presbyterian Church, 75 Vernon St., Newton Corner. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. A visiting hour will be held at the church prior to the service from 11-12. Interment will follow at Newton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Kay's name to the Newton Presbyterian Church, 75 Vernon St., Newton, MA 02458. Past President of the Ladies Aid and 50 year member of the Newton Presbyterian Church. When I heard that your Mom had passed, the first thing I thought of was how she had babysat me when my brother was born. When my Mom was sick she did a lot for my Mom & my family. My sympathies to you Linda & Larry.
