Florence May Emery

Of Belmont, NH died on September 7, 2007 at Sunbridge Nursing Home in Wolfboro, NH. She was born in Boston, MA on August 5, 1914; daughter of the late Francis and Bella (Matheson) Collins. She grew up in Massachusetts and graduated from Medford High School. In 1994 she moved from Billerica, MA to Belmont, NH. She worked as a secretary for many years for Dr. David F. O'Brien in Sommerville, MA and later was secretary to the Dean of Men at Tufts University in Medford, MA. She is survived by her son Robert F. Touchette of Belmont, NH; her three step children Clifton Emery III of Westford, MA; Nancy Emery of Fall River, MA; Peter Emery of Kennebunk, ME; her two sisters Dorothy O'Brien of Belmont, MA; Carol Yeo of Weymouth, MA; her two brothers Frank Collins of Peabody, MA; Robert Collins of Wakefield, MA and numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Clifton Emery. Memorial contributions, in honor of Florence, can be made to Alzheimer's Association, 10 Ferry St., Suite 427B, Concord, NH 03301.
