Dear Family of Barbara Hoyt,
As a long time member of the Old South Bell Choir, I would like to send my sympathy to the family of a longer time member of the Old South Bell Choir. I used to drive Barbara home from rehearsal quite often, and she would talk proudly of her family. She loved to talk about her grandchildren. I remember when she was able to visit her family in Germany and how happy she was to meet her little grandaughter. In May Barbara Boucher and I visited her at Aberjona, during our visit Barbara (H) recited a very long passage from the "Idyls of the King" by Tennyson from memory. We were amazed. Barbara had several treasured books close by that she had read so much that they were taped together. The members of the Old South Bell Choir will hold Barbara in our memory.

I treasure the August days that I spent with your mother and your families at Weld Beach. It brings a smile to my face to know that she always remembered to tell me how much she enjoyed the daylily plants that I gave her from my garden. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

This book of memories is to serve as a record of the services you entrusted to us. We hope it will help to preserve treasured memories and that we, in some small measure, have helped to ease your burden and bring you comfort.
