It's now almost 6 months since you left us. I thought it would get easier as time went by, but my heart still hurts when I think of you and daddy not being here. I miss you, our lives are not the same with out you . You were the center of our lives and we miss you and daddy more now then ever.

Thinking of you mama during this holiday season. The holidays will never be the same without you. When I hear Christmas music, all I can think of is you humming songs, especially when you were cleaning!!! I smile when I think of your little tree in the livingroom. You made it look so festive.

I can't get these thoughts from my head along with all the love i am feeling for you and your family right now. I watched you being the perfect patient at MGH. I watched you suffer each day. I prayed that you would make it home to watch your Soaps, do the crytoquote, and to cook Sandra supper, again. When the end was near, I struggled to tell the family to say "Good-by".
Now, I picture you dancing with Dad in Heaven.

Dear Ma,
I will miss you very much but I will always have you in my heart right next to Dad. You were the tower of strength for me when I was diagnosed with cancer in 1993. I could see how much it hurt you that this happened to me but you smiled at me when I needed it & that gave me the spiritual medicine to get through the next year of therapies. Now you are with Dad & watching over me every day. I feel your presence and am comforted by that feeling. The ordeal is over, Ma. Dad will show you around & your new life in Heaven will be the best. Enjoy it Ma, you earned it.

To my beautiful mother...Watching you drift away from us and knowing the pain you were suffering was one of the hardest things I ever had to do. But I believe that when it was time to cross over daddy was waiting for God to say: "go get her Vinny she's all yours" and daddy took your hand and danced you into heaven. I know you will never suffer pain again. May you rest in peace .

Agatha, Domenic, Patricia, Anna, Sandra, and Bobby .. Words don't help the pain, the sorrow, the emptyness you feel, but time only numbs the pain. I have heard Lena call every one of you and speak of everyone with such love and adoring comments. Bobby, since you have moved there, I always felt like you were Lena's son. She spoke of you with such love and I saw it all through her eyes.
My thoughts are with the entire family during this sad time, and Lena may you rest in peace.. I will forever remember your voice and smile.
