May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields
and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

No matter what the discussion was about, Bill would always break out into the appropriate little song to go with it - I don't know how he did it - he must have memorized a thousand little ditties!
He's the only person I've ever met who would make eggs and pancakes for the family dog's breakfast...
He was simply the most loving, gracious, dignified and honorable man anyone could wish to know.
He could warm the winter with his heart.

Mr. Mills,
Sir, I didn't know you, but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the U.S. Army during WW II in the 9th Infantry Division-"The Old Reliables." And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy. The 9th Inf. Div. saw extensive combat in WW II- first landing in North Africa, then later fighting in Sicily and then across Northern France, Belgium and Germany which included fighting in the Hurtgen Forest and the Ardennes during the Battle of the Bulge-I'm sorry for going on and on, but everytime when I read about what our men went through in WW II, I am always in awe.
