Helen Skibbs Obituary

Of East Bridgewater, formerly of Dorchester, Sept. 24, 2007. Wife of the late John Joseph. Mother of Helen Wisnaskas & Anna Lydon both of Whitman, Stella Martin of East Bridgewater, John Skibbs of S. Weymouth, Mary Tyrell of Quincy, Jean Sweeney-Rock of W. Roxbury, & the late Rita Long. Sister of the late Susan McQuade. Also survived by 16 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday in the Wales-Prophett Funeral Home, 35 Spring St., E. BRIDGEWATER at 12:00 Noon. Burial will be in Central Cemetery. Visiting hours are 1 hour prior to the service from 11:00 - 2:00. Memorial donations may be made to Catholic Television, Watertown, MA.

Jeannie, I am so, so sorry for the loss of your beloved mother. No matter how grown we are, it is a devastating loss. I know she was a spirited lady and I suspect you take after her kindly.
