Mr. Lyshorn,
Sir, I didn't know you, but I would just like to say thank you for your years of dedicated service and sacrifice-first for our Country when you served in the U.S. Navy during WW II aboard the battleship USS Arkansas(BB-33) fighting the Japanese and secondly for the citizens of Brookline when you served as a firefighter. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy. The USS Arkansas helped provided critical naval gunfire support for our Marines and soldiers at Iwo Jima and Okinawa in 1945 as well as going through many kamikake attacks. I'm sorry for going on and on but whenever I read about what our men went through in WW II, I am always in awe.

Death is a cruel interruption for those of us who hope to live in paradise on earth. See you later, Ray.

Helen Keller wrote: "With every friend I love who has been taken into the brown bosom of the earth a part of me has been buried there; but their contribution to my being of happiness, strength and understanding remains to sustain me in an altered world."
May Jehovah God sustain all family members as they realize Ray will be back from the sleep of death in the resurrection very soon.
