83, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, Sept. 23, 2007, in Manchester, NH. She was born in Everett, MA on June 2, 1924, a daughter of the late James and Marion (Flynn) Wholley. Barbara was predeceased by her husband John "Jack" F. Heaps. She is survived by her seven children John F. Jr., of Longmeadow, MA, Paul E. of Portsmouth, NH, Kathryn Kessler of Longmeadow, Marian Pickowicz of Bedford, NH, Ellyn Burke of Windham, NH, Dr. Robert J. of Bedford, NH & Barbara Nehmer of Wilbraham, MA; 14 grandchildren & four great grandchildren. Funeral Services Friday, September 28th beginning at 8:30 a.m. from the Forastiere Smith Funeral Home, 220 North Main St., EAST LONGMEADOW, MA, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Cross Church, 221 Plumtree Rd., Springfield, MA, with Rites of Committal at 1:30 pm in Woodlawn Cemetery, 302 Elm St., Everett, MA.
