Dear Aunty Flora,
Looking back on all of the wonderful and important times of my life, I realize that you were always there...and such a big part of me. For those times that you were not physically standing beside me, I knew you were still with me in thought (or email!). I have so many incredible memories of you, your stories, your laugh and most of all, your love for your family. The beautiful thing about such important memories, is that they do not fade. So I know that I can always close my eyes, look at a picture, or talk to mom to find you. I will miss you more than words can say. You have left behind so many things to celebrate, to remember, and to cherish. Although we all grieve for you, I know that you are at peace. I know that you are watching over all of us. I love you.
Love Rebecca

Dear Auntie Flora,
I have such wonderful memories I hold so dear to my heart of you. I remember living with you for a little while as a little girl like it was yesterday. I remember writing to you often as a child and receiving your fall leaves every year. Even as an adult you sent them, probably more for my children, but I always felt they were for me. I will so miss our chatty newsy emails. It's so hard knowing you're not there with Uncle Sidney, and so hard seeing mom so sad missing you. She loves you so much, but you know that!! I know you're at peace now, reunited with Grandma and watching over us as our angel.
I can't believe you're really gone, you are so missed...
All my love always, Eve

Mrs. Alpert,
You truely touched so many lives--sometimes with your smile-sometimes with your mischievous laugh--and sometimes with just a wise glance. But to those you loved it was the warm of your soul, and the kindness in your heart, and the wisdom you shared so freely. I am so glad my mom met you--I am sure Fashion 220 was never the same after that. You definately had a way of bringing out the beauty in all you touched. I will forever cherish your memory. Goodbye Mrs. Alpert...I love you--Camille

To all family and friends. My Aunt Flora was one of the most loving and caring persons I have ever known. While the loss of her is so tragic, the memorys of her sense of humor and the fact i have had to live with the fact of her dumping cereal on my head as a baby only makes her that great Aunt that she was. I will always remember that I got my payback at my wedding when I took a piece of wedding cake and mushed it in her face. I love you Flora for your gritty and your no holds barred on life.
