Lifelong resident of Quincy, September 28, 2007 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of 64 years of Eva V. (Battaglia) Iacovello. Loving father of Janis and her husband Daniel MacDonald of North Quincy and Michael and his wife Carmella (Casella) Iacovello of N. Weymouth. Devoted and dear grandfather of Michael F. Cahill of Dorchester, Mark R. and his wife Lisa (Devin) Cahill of Braintree. Doting great grandfather of Michael D. and Emma E. Cahill of Braintree. Devoted brother of Mario Iacovelli of Quincy, Lorenzo Iacovello of Braintree, Paul Richard Iacovello of Martha's Vineyard, Robert Iacovello of FL, Margaret Plapis and Loretta Beaudoin both of Quincy, Rose Barney and Dorothy Rice both of KY, the late Vincent Iacovello, Carmella Luciani, Josephine DiTullio and Virginia Hart. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Reposing at the Cartwright-Venuti Funeral Home, 845 Washington St., SO. BRAINTREE until 9:30 AM Monday followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church, So. Braintree Sq. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
