I first met Joanne in the mid 8o's when I applied for membership to the Sons of the Revolution. She was always so kind and most helpful. I will truly miss her fundamental decency and professionalism.

Dear Marianne,
Joanne introduced us this past spring at the Founders luncheon,a most inspiring award event for the young NROTC graduates who received the Patriots recognition for this year.Looking back, I could not imagine that she might be ailing - never a lost step through all the years we have known each other.
She was a major contributor to the Navy League Asa Phillips, Jr Book award to the outstanding MIT NROTC graduate - an award that she insisted would continue long after Mr Phillip's death!
And, of course, the Patriots - her first love and center of her devoted efforts - who can match her support of the organization!
I will miss our many telecons and the smile that she always brought to our meetings.
Special people such as she will always be missed and can never be
replaced.

VERY sorry to hear the sad news of your untimely loss. Joanne Fantucchio was the absolute BEST executive secretary with whom I ever had the pleasure to deal: she was always VERY courteous and HIGHLY competent. She was the "glue" that held several patriotic/hereditary societies (e.g., the S.R.) together; and, she was the oil that kept them running smoothely. More than that, she was a VERY nice lady. She will be sadly missed, yet fondly remembered....

I heard about Joanne's passing today from a fellow Founders & Patriots member. I 1st met Joanne 5 years ago when I was going through the application process for the Founders & Patriots. It is rare in life to meet someone as gracious and thoughtful as Joanne. My family & I are saddened beyond measure at Joanne's passing and, even though our only aquaintance with her was through Founders & Patriots, we will always remember her as a special person in our lives. Our deepest condolences to her family and friends.

To the Fantucchio family, I learned only moments ago of Joanne's passing, and am deeply saddened that we have all lost a woman of such character, a true professional, and agenuine friend. I was priveleged to have known her through many years of friendship with Asa Phillips Jr. , his wife Anne, and their family, and through mutual interests both patriotic and professional. I deeply respected Joanne's professional skill's in managing the Phillip's Law office, and also appreciated her sense of humor, and caring attitude in dealing with people. We have all lost a rare person, and a true friend.

I am sorry, very sorry to hear of Joanne's passing. After all these
years during which she assisted in the administration of our family trust, she became almost like one of the family. I will miss her greatly
