Virginia Romano Obituary

Of Revere, formerly of East Boston, passed away on Friday September 28th, 2007. Beloved wife of the late Salvatore Romano. Loving mother of Salvatore Romano, Michael Romano and Steven Romano. Dear sister of Ida Rizzo and Victor Nardi. Cherished sister-in-law of Maria Malloy. Adored grandmother of 6 grandchildren, the late Michael Romano Jr., and great-grandmother of 3 great-grandchildren. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Ruggiero-Mazzarella Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street (Orient Heights) East Boston on Monday October 1st at 9:00am. Funeral Mass in the Sacred Heart Church, 45 Brook Street, East Boston at 10:00am. Visiting hours are on Sunday, September 30th from 3:00pm to 7:00pm. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.The Memorial Home is handicapped accessible and a childrens lounge is available. Courtesy valet parking at the front entrance and ample attendant off street parking is also available in our 3 parking lots. For transportation to the memorial home please call 617-569-0990.Services will conclude with Virginia being laid to rest in Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
