Uncle Danny & Family,
I am sorry to hear of the loss of Aunt Franny she was a wonderful lady. I'll always remember all the
great times growing up with our families and how special an Uncle and Aunt you were. Our summer vacations together were so much fun and memorable whether it was Cape Cod, Lake Winnipesaukee or the adventurous trip to Maine, I don't think anyone will forget that one Kelly's Kozy Camps one of my Dad's originals. I'll always have fond memories of our get togethers.
Love,
Dick

She was one of the most benevolent and kind people that I have ever met. I never really spent enough time with her.
I will always remember you, Grandmother.
May God rest her soul.

The top ten things I inherited or learned from Mom:
10.Toes so ugly and misshapen that they should not be seen in public.
9.Hair that twists and turns into waves whenever the air is humid.
8.The ability to cry over telephone commercials or a schmaltzy Hallmark card.
7.Love of reading; especially a good murder mystery.
6.An appreciation of nature. I wish she had been able to come to Colorado in the summer to see the hummingbirds, magpies, mountain blue birds or our field of wild irises, Indian paintbrush and columbines.
5.A semi-green thumb. Mom’s thumb was much greener than mine, but I haven’t given up yet.
4.Love of babies; to cuddle, feel their ulta-soft skin, look into their large eyes and watch closely for their fleeting smiles.
3.A respect of the ocean. She taught us to dive right into the waves instead of laboriously inch into the cold water and she taught us to swim, to know our limits and to be aware of the undertow and tides.
2.How to create something from scratch. I think of her every time I use her capper on a bottle of homemade rootbeer or her canning supplies for some crab apple jelly. I hope I can complete the unfinished quilt she sent to me and to learn to knit, which she attempted to teach me in her last month.
1.To live a full life. When she came to Colorado to see a newborn Duncan, Ethan(age 4) looked at her long and hard and asked, “Why do you have so many cracks in your face?”
She laughed and said “Oh, do I? I guess that what you get from living a full life!”
May we all live such a full life.

Dan and Family:
Fran was beautiful woman. Her neighbors in Poppy will never forget her warm heart. She loved her family and adored her grandchildren and we loved when she would share stories about all of you from across her deck as she hung the laundry. May your precious memories carry you through this difficult time.
With Heartfelt love and sympathy,
The Fabiano Family

Dear Uncle Danny and family;
How saddened I am to hear of Aunt Franny’s death. My childhood memories are filled with her wonderful laughter and kind, gentle personality. I will always remember her love of nature: flowers and birds, in particular, teaching me which birds were frequenting my garden when she visited here in Rhode Island. The best memories, though, are of my parents, you and Aunt Franny having fun at the Cape. Whether it be constructing a house, digging clams, “boating!”, or just going to the beach; it was always a special time when we got together with the Hoffmans. Aunt Franny and Mom always made sure we had all the food, clothes and toys for a great time; no small feat for a group the size of ours! They were two extraordinary ladies. May you find peace in the knowledge that she is in a special place in Heaven.
Love, Patty Capuano
