Uncle Eddie, Joyce, Jean, & Eddie:

Today's service was beautiful and brought to mind fond memories of Auntie Barbara, especially the blue hard plastic suitcase she gave me for my very first trip when I was 6. I know that she is in a wonderful place now--a place where there is no suffering or illness. My condolences to the entire Juskalian family and to her sister, Florrie. You will all remain in my thoughts and prayers.

ED,

I wanted to extend my sympathies to you. Being Jennifer's best friend I have followed her through her years of working for you and have followed the road you have traveled with Barbara. Your wife was very lucky to have you and the care you have taken with her you always had her best interests as your priority and that should be admired. I hope you stay well.

Barbara was a dear friend at Austin College. Always smiling always happy is the way I remember her. My cousin Martha Tarpley Port sent me her obituary. I dedicate this poem I wrote in 1999 to her.

FRIENDSHIP

The people who pass through our lives
Are put there for a reason
Some stay around for a long, long time
Some for just a season.

You came and left too soon, too soon
I wanted you to stay
My life will never be as bright
Since you went away.

You made an impact on my life
By always being there
For me or any one who had
A heavy cross to bear.

I'll always remember the joy you spread
By the smile upon your face
I know where you have gone
Will be a brighter place.

I look forward to seeing you again
For this I'll always pray
Whether on earth or in Paradise
I'll see you again someday.
