Of Bourne, formerly of Marshfield, Oct. 2, 85 years old. Wife of the late Francis Tighe. Dear mother of William E. McCarthy of E. Wareham, Paul E. McCarthy of Marshfield, and the late Sharon Keane and Kathleen Young. Loving grandmother of Kelly Young Foley of Braintree, Heidi Tatreau-Ziemer and Holly Tatreau both of Reading, PA, Sean McCarthy of Carver, Cheryl Luchetti of Marshfield, Christian McCarthy of Dorchester and Scott McCarthy of Hudson, NH, Loving great grandmother of Lincoln Ray Ziemer and Wesley Finn Ziemer both of Reading, PA. Sister of Helen Sullivan of Scituate and the late Frances Larson of Scituate and Edward Keaney of Brookline. Catherine retired as a secretary for the Comm. of MA, Department of Mental Health. Funeral from the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St., Rte. 139, MARSHFIELD, Friday, Oct. 5, at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Christine's Church, at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Thursday, Oct. 4, 4-8 p.m. Interment at MA National Cemetery, Bourne, Tuesday, Oct. 9, at 11:15 a.m. Contributions in Catherine's memory may be made to Partners of Shattuck Hospital, 170 Morton St., Jamaica Plain, MA 02130.
