Tom, Donna and Bill,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families during this very difficult time. I am very thankful for the time I spent with your Mom and Dad growing up. Since Tuesday, with memories of growing up in North Reading rushing through my head, I am reminded of the many times I'd find myself on your back porch engaged in deep conversations with your Mom and Dad. They both were among the most supportive and interested adults I knew as a kid. And although it has been almost 20 years since I last saw your Dad, I am deeply saddened by the news of his passing.

Mr. Dubois,
Sir, I didn't know you but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the U.S. Army in the Korean War. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

To Don's family:
I was a supplier to Addison Wesley (Alpine Press) and Don was always a real professional, fair to all of us and was a real asset to AW.
I hope you know of the respect that Don earned throughout his career.

My Dear Dubois Family,
I graduated from Wilmington HS, in 1967, and my first job was at Addison Wesley Publishers, and your Dad was my first Boss, along with Dick Dietzel. I was just an entry level "mail boy," but it was a start and your Dad gave it to me. I loved that job and working for your Dad, he taught me to "focus," Set Goals, aim high, and go for it! I left AW in 1968 to fight in Vietnam. Your Dad, and others at AW, always remebered me (while I was there) and when I returned, they welcomed me, with open arms gave me my job back, only a better one, in the Computer Dept. Now, some 37 years later, I own a Direct Mail Company, and I never forgot about your Dad, and his spirt, and the things he taught me. Your Dad was a GREAT Mentor, friend, boss, and a fantastic person, whom I will never forget. My heartful condolences go to your family. I wanted to let you know, what a guiding light your Dad was to my career. May he rest in Peace!
Sincerely,
Frederick Shine, Pres.
