George B. McCarthy

Of West Peabody, formerly of Saugus, October 1, 2007, age 75. Beloved husband of Nancy Kelly. Father of six children from a previous marriage, daughters Margaret (Duffy), Suzanne, Kathleen, Christine (Kidney); sons George and Gregory, and 15 grandchildren. Brother of Francis of Nahant, Robert of Costa Mesa, CA, and the late William, killed in action on Iwo Jima in W.W. II. Mr. McCarthy was a Korean War Navy Veteran. After 26 years at GE in Lynn, he formed his own manufacturer's Representative Company, from which he retired after 22 years. Visiting hours for friends and family on Thursday, October 4 from 4 until 8 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 20 Church St., PEABODY Facility.
