Norman Flodstrom Obituary

Of Naples, FL, formerly of Walpole and Oak Bluffs, MA, died on Sat., Sept. 15, 2007 at Hospice of Naples. Beloved husband of Evelyn (Treen). Son of the late Elmer and Gladys (Trapp) Flodstrom. Loving father of Leanne Toth of Walpole, Steven and his wife Beth of Milford, Karin and her husband Robert Giguere of Walpole, and Trisha and her husband Denis Rusco of Dedham. Adored grandfather of 11, great grandfather of 3, as well as many nieces & nephews. Loving brother of Robert and Kenneth Flodstrom. Norman grew up in Medford, MA, and was a Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict. A printing pressman by trade, he worked at Plimpton Press and NE Book Components. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved to travel. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor. He was also an active member of the Masons, Scottish Rite and Shriners. Internment will be at Otis National Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday Oct. 6, 2007 at the United Church of Christ, 30 Common St., Walpole MA. Friends & relatives are kindly invited to attend. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Shriners Burn Center, Boston MA or Habitat for Humanities.

Sir, I didn't know you but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
