Auntie Ruth, Cousins, family..John and I were saddened to hear of Uncle Ed’s passing. Although his life here has ended, his eternal life has just begun. We pray that you find peace in knowing he is with his Father and pain free. Personally, I will cherish the memories of Uncle Ed, his calm demeanor, quiet but strong presence, a man of deep faith. He lives on through his memories, his love for you Auntie Ruth, the values he instilled in his children and grandchildren are a living legacy to the incredible man he was. We wished we could have been there to comfort and surround you with our love but know we prayed for you and the family over the past week. We will lift you up to the Lord and ask that he continue to give you comfort in the days, weeks and months to come. We miss ya’ll very much. Love Deb & John

I'm so Sorry to hear about Uncle Ed. I realize this is one of the most difficult times a family experiences. We take comfort in the good memories. For me it was always the heart felt handshake and huge smile. I'll never forget when he took me his plant in Lynn and showed me all the military stuff. That was the coolest for a little kid. Please know you are in my prayers. Cry because it may ease the pain, Laugh at the good times and funny things you'llnever forget, and always remember the love you shared, that can never go away.Love Brian

Ed's journey is over here on earth but just the beginning of his new life as he shares eternal peace and comfort with our Savior Jesus Christ. Although our hearts are heavy as we won't have the comfortable arms of Ed around us, we must find comfort in knowing God's arms are always around us, bringing us His love. This is the hard part about living away. We both wish we could be there to give you, Ruth, and the rest of the family a great big hug and kiss. We love you and God loves you.

I, too, genuinely wish that I could be there with you all at this time, but hope you know that it was impossible, having just moved to AZ. The Good News in the midst of this tremendous sadness is that, for those who are in Christ Jesus, this parting is temporary and Uncle Ed is more alive now than he's ever been, since he is now face-to-face with his Savior and, therefore, done with sin and death. This truth has comforted me greatly regarding the premature deaths of my 2 children, and I hope it will comfort all of you now. In the meantime, however, we who remain will miss him terribly. Please know that Tony and I will keep you in our thoughts and lift you up to the Father in prayer often. I wish I could e-mail a huge hug and kiss for each of you! Sending our love to all.
