Dear Friend of Bunny,
In our grief and rush to provide information to the newspapers regarding Bunny’s passing, we overlooked a particularly personal cause that she most certainly would have wanted us to mention. If you read Bunny’s obituary and were planning to make a contribution in lieu of flowers to the American Cancer Society, please consider instead or in part, a contribution to Katie’s Wish in Bunny’s memory.
Katie Cooper is one of Bunny’s grandnieces who was born with many serious and debilitating, physical and mental challenges. Katie is a delightful young girl whose entire family loves her very much. The Coopers give her everything she needs to make her as comfortable and as happy as they know how. They send her to school and work with her so that she may grow to her highest possible level, given the many challenges that she faces.
Unfortunately, Katie’s health needs have been and will continue to be very complex and expensive. A fund has been set up for Katie called “Katie’s Wish” which helps to pay for medicines and special equipment that would otherwise be unaffordable for a young, hard-working family.
Thank you for your consideration and for all of your wonderful support!
Warmest wishes,
The Ganat Family

To Grace and Fuzz:

Bunny has been so blessed to be so loved by you both and your children. She reciprocated by brightening your life and adding humor to all your family functions. Just reflecting back of my memories with her was her constant laugh. Living in California has encumbered my ability to spend more time with you all but I know now the love you have shared and what I missed by being so far away from that family core. I'll do my best to get back but this peaky job interfers with my desire to spend more time with family and friends. I am so proud to have cousins with the love and devotion you and Grace have shown to Bunny. Your mother and father would have beamed with pride to see the love you have all shared. I'm not so sure all our parents will be that lucky. It's the way families are supposed to live and you guys did it great!!!
Love to all. Cousin Billy
