Of Medford, October 5. Retired Deputy Chief Medford Fire Dept. Beloved son of the late Michael and Daisy (Stevens) McHale. Loving brother of Esther T. Hanlon of Stoneham, James S. McHale of CT and the late E. Marie McCarthy, John W. McHale and Harry P. McHale. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and one great great niece. Michael is a late member of the Veterans Association of the Lawrence Light Guard, Past Commander and member of Medford Post #45 of The American Legion, Member of Medford Post #1012 V.F.W., Member of the Appalachian Mountain Club, Member of Chatham Trail Association, Loyal member of Saint Raphael's Parish for over seventy years and the last of his family. Funeral from the Gaffey Funeral Home, 43 High Street, Medford Square, MEDFORD, Monday at 9AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Raphael's Church, Medford at lOAM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours Sunday 4-8 PM. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Late U.S. Army Air Corp WW II.

I was so sorry to hear about Uncle Mike. I spoke with Phil and Sandee in Italy and they send their deepest sympathies to all. Irving and I are hoping to come tomorrow to the wake with baby Harry.

Sir, I didn't know you but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army Air Forces during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
